  1. Dry roast cumin seeds and coriander seeds in a pan till light golden brown and fragrant.
  2. Put the toasted seeds in a mortar coarsely crush using a pestle.
  3. Cut potatoes into small pieces.
  4. Heat oil in non- stick pan.Add remaining cumin seeds and when they change colour,add asafoetida turmeric powder red chilli powder.
  5. Add potato pieces, toss and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add ground seeds mixture dried mango powder and salt,toss and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add chopped coriander coriander leaves,toss and cook for a 1 minute.
  8. Turn off the heat. Serve hot garnished with coriander sprigs.
